Aileen B. Schieber, of Doylestown, died on April 12, 2025, at the Wesley Enhanced Living Center. Aileen was the wife of William A. Schieber who predeceased her in December 2017. Aileen and William shared 70 years together in marriage and raised four wonderful children.


Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William L. Coyle and Cathleen Roche Coyle.

Aileen graduated from Little Flower in Philadelphia. She found her joy in bringing smiles to young faces by way of her toy store endeavors. Aileen owned the Vendor Shoppe in Peddlers Village and an additional two stores, one in Springhouse, PA, and in Captain Johns Village, LBI, NJ.

She enjoyed gardening, roller skating, dancing, was an avid book reader and often enjoyed card game tournaments of Pinochle and Bridge with her lady friends. Aileen was very proud of her Irish heritage and in fact spent some of her childhood in County Cork, Ireland. She enjoyed traveling with her husband William. Of their travels together, Aileen and William were lucky to travel the world and visit every continent.

Aileen has been heard to say, “Above all else; most importantly are my children and family.” Not surprisingly, her favorite flower is impatiens which are commonly associated with motherly love. In addition to her role as wife and mother, Aileen was a wonderful sister to her brother Bill with whom she shared many great times and memories.

Aileen is survived by her children: Mark Schieber (Debra Jo), Timothy Schieber (Rose Ann{decd.}) and Jessica Exner Blackburn, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as three siblings: William Coyle, Kathleen Smith (Tom) and John Coyle (Linda).Aileen was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Fesmire, two granddaughters, Christiana Fesmire and Victoria Exner, her sister, Patricia Staudinger, daughter-in-law Rose Ann Schieber (Tim) and son-in-law Chester Fesmire (Deborah).

Services and interment will be private.
