Melvin Arbeter of Doylestown passed away on November 7, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 79.

Mel was the beloved husband of Frances Reynolds Arbeter, the loving father of Brenda Lippincott, Mark D. Arbeter (Laurie) and Sandra Kraich (Chris), as well as the very special Pop-Pop to Ashley and Amanda Lippincott; Jared and Kylee Arbeter and Sabrina, Krista, Peter and Christopher Kraich and great-grandfather of, Anna Grace Arbeter. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Allan Arbeter (Tammy). He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Ida Arbeter and his grandson, Mark D. Arbeter, Jr.

He was a graduate of Central Bucks High School and attended Delaware Valley College, then known as “Farm School.”

Mel was in construction and sales at Sylvan Pools and Carlton Pools.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and above all else, a Master Gardener. His vegetable garden and fruit trees were a sight to behold.

Services and interment were private.
