Lloyd Archer Jr., of Langhorne, was called home to his Savior on Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was 83.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Naomi (McKenna) Archer.

He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Lowry, DD-770. Before retiring, he worked many years for “Ma Bell”, now known as Verizon.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Krogh) Archer, his children, Corliss Hanko (Dan), Susan Carol Archer, Kristine Schaeffer (David), Stephen W. Archer (Amanda), Troy Eric Wet and Anker West (Ada), as well as nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Perkasie.
