Jill Roberts Sarantschin

July 28, 2017

Jill Roberts Sarantschin, of Doylestown, lost her valiant battle with cancer on Friday, July 28th surrounded by her family. She was 54 years old.

Born in Allentown, she is survived by her daughters, Elisa and Emily; her parents, Marilyn and William Roberts, her sister, Lynne Appleman, husband, Jim, and nephews, Alex and Will Appleman, as well as numerous other family.

She was a graduate of George School, Denison University and received her Master’s Degree from Antioch University. She taught at Doyle Elementary School for the last 12 years.

Her primary passion was nature and she spread this love to her family and friends through many years of volunteering at Peace Valley Nature Center, visits to her parents in southwest Florida, a lifetime of summers at Buck Hill Falls in the Poconos and most recently on a safari with her daughters to Tanzania.

We will best remember Jill for her strength, empathy, generosity, and selflessness. Jill has left an everlasting impression on everyone she’s met, and she will be missed dearly and thought of often.
