Frederick A. Thoreson, Jr.

Frederick Arthur Thoreson, Jr. of North Wales, passed away on Wednesday, March 21 at his home. He was 71 years old and is survived by his wife, Phyllis Thoreson.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Mildred Brown and Frederick Thoreson, Sr.

Fred was a 1964 graduate of Central Bucks High School. After graduation, he served his country in Vietnam 1966-1967.

He loved the outdoors, muscle cars, reading and was a collector of various military items. Animals loved him and would walk right up to him for a chat whenever they saw him. Fred retired in 2011 and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Erik Thoreson (Brittney) and Dana Thoreson (Amy), his brother, Jerry R. Thoreson (Barbara), his aunt, Marie Bennett, as well as his extended family of 15 and his 6 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his grave side service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 27 in Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Road, New Britain.
