Edna Jean Walker of New Hope passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was 84 and wife for 59 years of the late David E. Walker who passed in 2012.

Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late W. Harold and Emma Cook Fisher.

Jean graduated from New Hope Solebury High School. Jean was a homemaker who was cherished by her family and cared deeply about by her friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Thomas D. Walker (Lynn); Susan W. McDonald (Sam) and Christina D. Walker; her grandchildren: Matthew Walker (April); Jacob Walker (Hillary); Cody McDonald (Ericia) and Natalie Walker and her six great-grandchildren, as well as her sister: Catherine Fritzinger; her brother: William Fisher and her sister-in-law, Ann Liebgold.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2018 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Hope.
