The Fingleton Family has lost an anchor, but gained a saint.

Denise D. Fingleton of Doylestown, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was 81 years old and the beloved wife for 60 years of James T. Fingleton.

Denise was born and raised in Chicago. She was born to the late Rudolph and Marion Leiser. Denise was a resident of Doylestown for 40 years.

She was the devoted and caring mother of: James G. Family was everything to Denise. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her dedication to the ones she loved was unparalleled – as was her pie crust.

Denise was a daily communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, committed to her faith and her community. She always put others first, serving through the Village Improvement Association and her church for many years.

She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by all whose lives she touched.
