Betty Jane Rightler Blondin passed away peacefully on November 9, 2017 at Pine Run Health Center in Doylestown surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Vernon E. Blondin who passed in 1972.

Born in Lakewood, Ohio to the late William A. and Mary Myrtle (Blanck) Rightler.

Betty grew up in Norristown and lived for many years in the Lansdale area before moving to Pine Run Community, Doylestown in 2008.

Betty worked as an lnformation Research Assistant at Merck and Company retiring after 25 years, in 1988. During retirement she was an active volunteer with the Merck Retiree organization RSVP and the American Red Cross.

She loved spending time with her family, especially the 3-generation vacations they took together. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Betty Jo Schwartz (Dietrich) of Doylestown, Jeffrey R. Blondin (Karen) of Allentown and Christine lnterrante (Thomas) of Lansdale; four grandchildren: Jennifer Will, Mark Schwartz, Douglas lnterrante and Amy lnterrante, and four great-grandchildren, Natalie, Katie, Gwendolyn and Matthias, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Josephine McFarland, William A. Rightler, Jean Rothenberger, and Ambrose Rightler.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Pine Run Health Center for the love and care she received while she lived there and Doylestown Hospital Hospice for their care at the end of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to grave side services where she will be remembered at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 25,2017 at Friedens Union Church Cemetery, 1011 Church Road, Sumneytown, PA.
